Providing customized cybersecurity training for various businesses and industries, Cybint helps their customers to create a safer digital world through education and training.

They use innovative and cutting-edge training solutions, ensuring the reskilling of the workforce and the upskilling of the cybersecurity industry.

Tasks

Cybint approached Raccoon Gang with the request to develop a customcybersecuritytrainingplatform for various industries and business verticals.

The main goal was to continually provide different organizations with courses and content, based on the changing security landscape for minimizing cyber risk with total visibility.

In order to ensure total visibility and follow the progress of a particular department, team or person, the task was to create a custom dashboard, with specific reports and analytics

The request was to determine the influence of each course on the final result for separate organizations using a custom skill-based metric: “Risk Factor”.

An important task was to create a platform where standard functionality was combined with unique features for content delivery, grading policy, managing users and roles.

The whole value proposition of Cybint is the combination of unique content and a learning platform that delivers a unique cybersecurity specific experience.

The task was to be able to quickly develop new client platforms, give access to learning paths and enrol specific employees, departments or teams into courses in an automated way.

The Challenge
Out-of-the-box Open edX doesn’t provide separate stats for different microsites. If two teams have access to the same course, they see overall stats. Our task was to develop a solutionformanagingcoursesseparatelyandindependentlyoneachmicrosite.
Considering the business vertical and value proposition, we needed to add backendandfrontendcustomfeatures to the out-of-the-boxOpenedXplatform.
What Open edX already had:
Ability to automatically grade quizzes, peer assessments, drag-n-drops, provide course completion certificates
Ability to gather all the user interaction data and to build custom reports
Course pacing and content visibility settings
Ability to build learning paths and create a library of courses
Enrollment and bulk enrollment
Variety of available content types to build the courses

Access level depends on the role in the team. Each team member has their level of access, which allows monitoring the risk factor of the team, department, or just their own

The unique report ensures minimized cyber risk with total visibility. A unique report allows for the tracking of company progress, team progress, department, or progress of an individual learner.

It is possible to track reduced risk, overall assessment, learning path or the number of completed course modules
