Since 2016, ChallengeU has provided self-paced courses in English, French, and Mathematics. The courses are tailored to meet the academic requirements for students to complete their schooling, pass state examinations, and gain admission to their preferred college. Their current state exam pass rate is over 90%, thanks to ChallengeU’s instructional design, curriculum, and user experience.

The flexibility of Open edX allowed the implementation team to keep ChallengeU’s instructional design best practices, and user experience, such as.
Linear Course Flow: The correct sequence of course materials makes learning easier. Students can study the course in the correct sequence.
Diagnostic Test: Thanks to the diagnostic test, potential issues and knowledge gaps can now be identified even before the start of the course.
File and Essay Submission Xblocks: Teachers can provide more targeted feedback and support to students, improving their understanding and performance.
Library—Reusable Content: The LMS includes a library of reusable content, which allows creators to save time and effort by using existing materials in different courses.
Text Definitions and Hints: Learning becomes more accessible thanks to text definitions and hints. Students receive additional resources to understand complex concepts.
Answer Key: The answer key provides students with a reliable resource to check their work, identify mistakes, and learn from their errors
